A DJ in Tampa, Florida, has accidentally unplugged a fan’s life support machine while setting up a Traktor controller.
Miles Benson, a.k.a. DJ Miles Better, was planning on playing his terminally ill fan a send off set in the intensive care unit of Tampa General Hospital when the unfortunate incident occurred.
“I felt totally awful for a few minutes after I unplugged the wrong machine,” claimed a slightly remorseful DJ Miles Better earlier. “I mean the guy was going to die anyway so I’m not too upset about that, but I’m pretty sure his family wanted to be around when the life support machine got unplugged and I’ve never got to play in a hospital before so it was a total bummer.”
“There was all of this really elaborate looking machinery, kind of like at a Laurent Garnier live set, with so many cables it was almost impossible to tell which was which,” continued the DJ defensively. “I thought I was unplugging a bedside lamp but it was actually the life support machine. If you ask me, if the doctors had of been a little bit tidier this never would have happened so it’s really kinda their fault.”
“Just after I unplugged it lots of nurses and doctors came running into the room,” he explained. “At first I was like ‘awesome they’re coming to see me play’, but then they started shouting and pushing me out, they were actually kinda assholey about the whole thing, it wasn’t really my fault and they wouldn’t even let me take the power cable off my Traktor controller with me.”
“It’s the last time I go out of my way to try and help one of my fans. You just get no thanks for it at all.”
According to Tampa General Hospital’s CEO, Dr. D. Pepper, there is now a hospital wide ban on digital DJing equipment, however, in some instances, analog equipment will be permitted in certain wards “for those oldies clinging to both their lives and the notion that vinyl sounds better”.

WHAT THE HELL DOES HE EXPECT! He pulled someones lifeline out and says that the nurses were ‘arsey’ with him!? Sounds like a real nice guy – ‘well he was going to die anyway” Im sorry but seriously!? Stupid, not eve apologised to the family? I bet not. Sounds rather arrogant to me…
LOL bro look around this site for a minute if the article itself wasn’t blatantly obvious enough that this is satire (joke/not real story) 🙂
Still lol…
