A man is confident of securing a midweek “Netflix & chill” date this morning after successfully convincing a work colleague that he likes Magic Mike.
Andrew Ramsbottom, an IT support worker, made the cunning claim while chatting to Sarah from accounts during a routine maintenance call early this morning.
“I’ve been chatting with this girl Sarah for the last couple of weeks, she’s absolutely gorgeous” claimed Andrew at the water cooler earlier. “She called me today with some issue on her desk top so instead of telling her to switch it off and on again I called down to her desk for a bit of a flirt.”
“I was bent over checking all the cables were connected properly, and generally just pretending to work, when I caught her checking out my arse,” claimed the IT worker. “That’s when I knew it I was in business, I threw out out a some obvious girly Netflix bait and she bit on Magic Mike, you can never go wrong with that or Orange is the New Black, they’re pretty much guaranteed sex.”
“Now that the seed has been planted I’ll probably ask her if she wants to come around for a bit of Netflix and chill tonight or tomorrow,” continued Andrew confidently. “We both know what’s actually on the cards so hopefully I won’t have to put up with much more than twenty minutes of Magic Mike, maybe I’ll get some wine in and see if can cut that time in half.”
“Subscribing to Netfix is the best thing that’s ever happened to my sex life and it’s only £5.99 a month, I’d easily pay triple that.”
According to Netflix CEO Ivana Hump, Magic Mike is the most watched film among men aged 19-35, although, in most cases it is not viewed beyond the thirty sixth minute.
