FOX broadcasting company has announced that Paris Hilton is to be given her own EDM themed reality TV show.
The network see the socialite as the perfect face for a new venture into the world of EDM. Gene Brawadowski, head of generic productions, commented on the announcement, “We’ve wanted to work with Paris for a long time now but we never really knew how we could use her, on account of her having no talent at all,” chuckled Mr. Brawdowski, “but now it turns out she’s an international DJ so we’re only to happy to jump on that bandwagon!”
The news comes just days after Hilton agreed to another summer residency in Ibiza superclub Amnesia. Hilton enjoyed a successful spell as resident in the famous nightclub for the month of August and was said to be delighted to be returning for more of the same next summer.
The show, rumoured to be called ‘It’s My Party‘ will see Hilton try to transform failing nightclubs into the coolest venues America has to offer.
Mr Brawdowski continued, “It’s going to be a lot like Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares, only it will be with nightclubs, it’s a good formula and should be quite profitable. We’ll basicall have Paris go in and scream and shout a bit. Then we’ll give these places a lick of paint, get a big name DJ to come in and play so we can fill the joint once and move onto the next place. We’re going to film a pilot next week but I think it’s safe to say we’ll have ten episodes ready to go by Spring 2014.”
Hilton posted a response to the announcement on Twitter, “OMG so happy to be back on TV! I can’t wait to help out some loser nightclubs and show them what EDM is all about!”
Judging by the responses to her tweet it is fair to say that public opinion on the show is mixed. Garry5118 tweeted, “FUCK OFF and die Hilton you slut!!!” Bigboss11 also vented his frustration via Twitter, “Jesus Christ is there no hope for man kind!!” While LilPrincess13 responded, “YAY Lets show these old fogies how to have an EDM party sparkles style.”
