Skrillex Calls Deadmau5 Asshole – Realises He’s Looking In A Mirror
Dubstep-EDM superned Skrillex has been left embarrassed after calling his former mentor, Deadmau5, an asshole only to realise he had been looking in a mirror moments later.
Skrillex, real name Sonny John Moore, released the tirade of abuse against the Mau5trap label founder on Halloween night, shortly before revealing that he was to dress up as a normal person to celebrate the holiday.
It is believed that after putting on his costume, Skrillex became confused while looking at himself in the mirror and proceeded to rant against Deadmau5, seen by many as the EDM’s go to pantomime villain.
Close friend, musical ally and possible secret lover Diplo explained the series of events, “Myself and Sonny had been sipping back a couple of West Coast Coolers while we we’re getting ready to go to Kaskade’s Halloween bash. Sonny obviously drank a little too much, he nearly finished a whole bottle, and got a little confused after getting dressed.”
“He was looking at himself in the mirror and next thing he got his phone out and started Tweeting,” explained Diplo, EDM’s answer to Jeremy Clarkson. “I tried to stop him because everyone knows you’re not supposed to use your phone when you’re drunk but it was too late, he’s already hit the Tweet button.”
“I think seeing himself dressed as a real person made him realise how much of an asshole Skrillex actually is,” continued the producer. “It was bound to happen after working with the likes of me and Bieber but I never thought it would happen as publically as this. He must feel like such a douche.”
“I’m not sure what made him go for Deadmau5. I guess he must hold him responsible for his career,” assumed Diplo. “Although he can hardly blame the Mau5 on the fact that he sold out and became a pop star, he only has himself to blame for that.”
According to sources in Canada, Deadmau5 is believed to have given precisely zero fucks as to what Skrillex had to say but does regret “ever signing the little Emo jerk” in the first place.
