News emerging from the dance music community this afternoon indicates that DJs Doorly and Darius Syrossian have been spotted sitting up a tree in London’s Hyde Park.
Reports that the pair of DJs were K-I-S-S-I-N-G have yet to be confirmed although it is clear that the two men seemed very comfortable in each other’s company.
One passer by, Andy from Tottenham, had this to say, “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I seen the two of them DJs sitting up the tree together. First off, they’re northerners, they shouldn’t be coming down here, taking southern DJs’ jobs and, secondly, what are they doing in a tree, a tree is no place for a grown man, only little boys and woodland creatures should be up trees. What’s this country coming too?”
Unconfirmed rumours that the pair have entered into a civil partnership have emerged from within the industry although it is more likely that the DJs were up the tree to promote this Saturday’s Doorly and Friend’s takeover in Ministry of Sound.
“It’s not clear exactly what was going on up the tree,” explained London clubbing expert Dean Gaffney. “If the pair were indeed K-I-S-S-I-N-G, you’d expect love, marriage and possibly even a baby in a golden carriage to follow in the near future but I just don’t see it, I’m pretty sure their being up a tree in London is probably something to do with their Ministry gig.”
“It could also have been a hide-and-go-seek related issue,” reported Gaffney, best known for something or other. “There’s been a steady increase in the number of hide-and-go-seek incidents involving northerners recently, probably got something to do with the rising cost of alcohol and it being their turn to buy a round.”
If you’d like to see Doorly and Darrius perform, possibly hand in hand, they’ll be playing at Wunderground’s Box takeover for Doorly and Friends in the Ministry of Sound this Saturday. Check out the event information here.
