Man Hospitalised With Head Injuries After New Track “Blew His Mind”

A man has reportedly been hospitalised with “severe head injuries” after a new track that he was listening to “blew his mind”.

Although the track in question cannot be named for legal reasons, it is believed the track is currently working it’s way up the Beatport Deep House charts and has been linked with both the United Kingdom and Germany.

Barry Barnes was rushed to Salford Royal hospital in Manchester, England, after suffering the injuries earlier today.

Wunderground spoke with Paul Hughes, an eyewitness and close friend of Mr Barnes, “Me and Barry were just sitting around flicking through tunes on Beatport looking for the latest bangers when it happened. He was ok one minute and the next he just flopped onto the floor with a blank expression on his face, kind of like he was in a K hole, only without doing any K.”

“I didn’t have a clue what had happened to him so instinctively I left him alone for about forty five minutes to see if he’d snap out of it, he didn’t so I rang an ambulance,” continued Mr Hughes. “It was only when the paramedics had assessed him and told me what had happened that I knew he’d had his mind blown.”

“I thought the tune was alright but luckily for me I’m not really into deep house, I think it’s for pussies, I’m more of a techno man myself, so it didn’t blow my mind,” revealed Hughes. “”I’d hate to think what would have happened if we’d both had our mind blown, we’d probably still be there pickling like a couple of gherkins in a jar of vinegar.”

According to doctors, Mr Barnes is likely to make a full recovery, although he will have to limit himself to bland or boring music, such as country & western, EDM or Marco Carola mixes, for the next six to eight weeks.
