American EDM cock helmet Steve Aoki has reportedly been refused entry to his own gig after security mistook him for a “killer clown”.
The DJ was apparently “man handled” away from the popular venue and told to “grow up” and “act his age” by the surly security staff.
“I don’t give a fuck who you are, what you do or how much money you got in your trust fund, if you’re a clown, you’re not getting through these doors,” explained the ironically named Bill “Tiny” Williams. “I know a clown when I see one and that guy is definitely a clown, the last thing we want in the club is one of these idiots running around scaring all the kids. So I moved him on, end of story. This is my door and I run it whatever way I see fit.”
According to eyewitness Mitchell Andrews, the security staff were a little quick to judge the Miami born DJ.
“I thought they acted a little too quickly and didn’t really give the guy a chance to explain himself,” claimed Mr Andrews. “Was he dressed in stupid clown like clothes? Yes. Was he acting like a total dick head clown? Yes. Did he look like a killer? No. Would anyone other than a twelve year old girl be scared of him? No. Sure, he looked like a bit of a creep but they easily could have let him into the club.”
Aoki has categorically denied being a killer clown, although, according to sources close to the DJ, he has been working on juggling, stilt walking and shooting himself out of a cannon as part of his live show for 2017.
