English beatboxer extraordinaire, Beardyman, has been confirmed to play the comical sound effects mouthpiece, Larvelle Jones, in the latest instalment of crime fighting caper Police Academy.
Beardyman, real name Darren Foreman, will play the mischievous officer in the eighth chapter of the movie franchise, set to be titled Police Academy 8: Killing Innocent Black People.
“We’re delighted to welcome Mr. Foreman to our crew for this project,” claimed movie producer Kyle Sammon. “We had hoped Michael Winslow, the original Jones, would return but for some crazy reason he wasn’t willing to sign up for a movie that makes light of police brutality and the unlawful killing of innocent African-Americans.”
“Luckily Mr. Foreman is every bit as proficient at making hysterical sound effects with his voice as Mr. Winslow was so he should fit seamlessly into the crew.”
Movie insiders have revealed that Beardyman’s role will be to provide a comedic backdrop to an otherwise bleak and disturbing reflection of modern society.
“The movie’s a lot more gritty and a lot less funny than its predecessors,” revealed the source. “It’s basically just scenes of horrific violence broken up by Beardyman making siren noises. It’s pretty much the perfect formula. We’re expecting to smash the box office.”
We caught up with Beardyman to ask him how he was feeling about his role, he responded by making a flawless bumblebee noise to indicate that he was “buzzing for it”.
We also asked him a series of other question about the movie which he answered with various sound effects including the ticking of a clock, a Glock 19 semi-automatic hand gun and the sound of the Hindenburg crashing and burning.
Reports within the film industry indicate that Beardyman will not be the only musical connection to the new Police Academy movie after it was revealed that David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Avicii and Steve Aoki will appear in the Blue Oyster scenes.
