Boiler Room Finland “Massive Failure” According To Eyewitnesses

A recent edition of the popular Boiler Room series, in Finalnd, has been branded a ‘massive failure’ according to one eyewitness.

Jari Nikulainen, 24, was attending the show in the town of Kemi, “I’ve always wanted to go to a Boiler Room show so when I heard there was going to be one in Kemi I was over the moon. I even bought a new trucker hat and non prescription glasses so I could look really cool while dancing sedately behind the DJ,” he told Wunderground.

Boiler Room organisers decided to hold the event in Kemi’s world famous Lumilana Snow Hotel, which is made entirely from ice and snow.

Mr. Nikulainen told us how things started to go wrong, “At first it was really good, everyone was right up the front jostling to get onto the camera. I know why they call it the Boiler Room because it got really hot in there very quickly.”

“Then we started to get drips of water falling on our heads. It was horrible, people’s hairdos were getting ruined. There was a bit of a panic and everyone rushed towards the bathrooms to check they still looked alright in the mirrors, one poor girl was knocked over in the commotion and trampled, she had to be taken to hospital,” he added.

“After that the show was ruined, nobody wanted to be on camera with wet clothes or messy hair. The organisers came out and said they were going to end the performance because without the fans it was just a DJ playing in an empty room. If people want to see that they should film a David Guetta show,” joked Mr. Nikulainen.

Thom Plumber, a Boiler Room spokesperson, responded to events, “We are sorry to announce that the recent Boiler Room show in Kemi, Finland, had to be cancelled mid show. We take full responsibility for this and realise that holding a hot and sweaty event in a room made entirely out of ice, was a massive oversight on our part. We hope to return to the town, in the not to distant future, and give all of our fans another chance to get their faces on camera.”

Gylfi Heikkinen, the manager of the Lumilana Snow Hotel, also spoke on the incident, “The whole thing was a disaster, we were lucky nobody was killed. If the show had continued the entire room could have melted and people would almost certainly have drowned.”
