Country Music Still Killing More People Annually Than Techno

A report issued by the Independent Association of Corpses Cadavers and Carcasses, or the IACCC, today has confirmed that county music is still responsible for more annual deaths than techno.

Despite techno, and other forms of electronic music, receiving a lot of bad press this year, the number of deaths associated with the musical genre wane in comparison to that of country music.

Dr. Carla Coxx of the IACCC spoke to Wunderground earlier today, “It seems like every time there is a death that can be linked, in anyway, to techno we see a huge witch hunt in the media looking to point the finger of blame at the music or the industry.”

“However, when we look at country music, which is responsible for far more annual deaths than techno, the media look elsewhere for excuses,” continued the doctor. “They blame it on poor socio-economics, gun policies or ISIS but we all know that the music is the real killer.”

“So far in 2015 there have been about three thousand deaths which can be directly associated with country music,” claimed Dr. Coxx. “They vary quite a lot, and can be anything from people actually dying of boredom to people being shot by their neighbors for playing country music too loud but in all cases the music has been a major factor.”

“In the same period we’ve seem less than a hundred deaths associated with techno,” revealed Coxx, “and most of these have been a very loose association. Techno really is much safer than country.”

According to experts, country music is currently one of the most dangerous genres of music available, with only gangster rap and Daniel O’Donnell registering a higher death toll in 2015.
