Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike To Reward Fans With Super Exclusive VIP Experience

Belgian EDM stars, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, have today announced a special thank you for their fans who voted in the DJ Mag Top 100 countdown where the duo placed 6th by offering a “super exclusive VIP experience” for their Bringing Home The Madness shows in December.

“Basically we just wanted to think of a way to thank our fans for supporting our attempts at music and for voting for us in the extremely lucrative DJ Mag Top 100,” explained Dimitri. “So we thought what better way to do this than to offer an exclusive number of lucky fans the opportunity to have a once in a financial year’s chance to have a VIP experience at one of our upcoming shows.”

The duo are offering fans the chance to meet the group, join them onstage and even hang out backstage after the show. “We were going to do a competition on our Twitter but we thought that it’d be fairer, and more in line with the DJ Mag voting experience, to offer the trip to fans who can afford it.”

The duo have released a rolling scale of prices that they are offering to fans which includes, “standing beside Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for the duration of the show = $1,000”, plus the chance to “Press the button for the drop = $5,000” as well as offering other options like “fiddle the knobs [or] bounce with outstretched arms” for prices starting at $1,000 and increasing to a whopping $50,000 for the chance to show “heart hands.”

“We think it’s a great chance for our fans to experience what it’s like to play an EDM gig,” enthused Like Mike. “They can press the buttons for the tracks, smile and gurn to the crowd and generally have a good time pretending that they’re actually real DJs. It’s the closest you can get to experiencing what we do at our shows.”

“They can hang out with us before the show, take some Instragram photos for the really low, low price of $250,” claimed Dimitri. “It’s a great deal and it makes economic sense.”

Responding to critics who claimed that the project resembled a cheap money making scheme and was akin to prostitution Like Mike claimed, “We’re not taking advantage of anybody. If our fans are happy and willing to spend money to have the VIP experience then nobody is getting hurt. If anybody is being prostituted it’s us,” he continued. “And we’re more than happy to prostitute ourselves.”
