English garage stalwart DJ EZ’s Nike baseball cap and former partner has reportedly been spotted leaving a London hotel with fellow DJ Toddla T.
EZ recently announced that he would no longer be wearing the iconic baseball cap, or any other Nike clothing, leaving the cap with little choice but to find another DJ’s head to perch itself on.
Hotel manager Barry Grieves spoke to Wunderground, “I couldn’t believe it when I seen DJ EZ’s cap hanging out at the resident’s bar with another DJ. I know life goes on and the cap needs to be looked after but it just seems so soon, EZ only broke the news that he wouldn’t be wearing it anymore last week and there it was totally flirting with Toddla T.”
“They were getting very close at the bar, Toddla didn’t actually put the cap on his head but he wasn’t a million miles away from doing so,” revealed Mr. Grieves. “Then at ten eleven o’clock one of the waitresses claimed she heard the DJ whispering ‘with a little bit of luck we can make it through the night’ into the cap’s peak before the two of them disappeared up the stairs.”
“They did make it through the night too, the next time they were spotted they were leaving together at eleven o’clock the next morning,” continued the hotel manager. “I feel terrible for EZ, breakups are never easy, especially not when you have your nose rubbed in it like this. I just hope he doesn’t do anything stupid in response, like going out a getting a Reebok cap. He’s far better than that.”
So far DJ EZ has yet to comment on the alleged sighting, although, Toddla T’s partner and fellow Radio 1 DJ, Annie Mac, has claimed that “Toddla T has another thing coming if he think’s he’s bringing that mangy old cap anywhere near [her] house”.
