Ken Stark, a clubber who hadn’t been out in “quite a while” was said to be over the moon last night after a DJ played Mylo’s Drop The Pressure at his local nightclub.
Stark (29), who went to the pub for one drink after work on Friday but ended up taking ecstasy and going to the nightclub after a chance meeting with some old friends, is believed to have been “totally buzzing” when he heard the song. A friend of Stark’s commented that he was, “hopping all over the place when Mylo came on” and went around “awkwardly high fiving” strangers while singing “de de de de de de de de da PREASSURE” at the top of his voice.
Stark explained his joy at hearing the song to a random person in the smoking area, “I’ve not been out in a long time and I don’t really now any of the tunes these days so it was just great to hear something I recognised.”
“I’ve always loved that de de de de de de de de da pressure track, it reminds me of when I used to hear it on the radio,” he said while rolling his eyes back into his head and running his fingers through his hair, before completely forgetting what he was talking about and asking, “hey did you hear that tune what goes de de de de de de de de da pressure earlier on? I love that track,” and then randomly talking about work for twenty mins.
After three hours of repeating this conversation with everybody in the smoking area Stark is reported to have left the club and returned home where he is said to be “feeling like shit” and “in the fucking dog house” with his wife.
