Door to door Jehovah’s Witnesses in Sweden have been given strict instructions to avoid knocking on EDM star Axwell’s door after the DJ reportedly held two of their members against their will for over eight hours in his Stockholm apartment.
The incident happened last week after the pair of unsuspecting Jehovah’s Witnesses called to the former Swedish House Mafia member’s apartment in an attempt to convince the thirty six year old Swede to become a member of their church.
“Usually people just tell us to politely fuck off when we knock on their door,” explained Brother Peter of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church Stockholm. “But this guy was different, he was very eager to talk and quickly invited us into his home for a conversation.”
“We kept trying to explain the fundamental differences between our religion and Christendom but every time we’d start he’d just cut us off and start telling us about time he spent in Ibiza or models that he slept with,” continued the well mannered and smartly dressed young Witness. “After about an hour my colleague and I decided we were getting nowhere and told him we’d like to leave.”
“He wasn’t buying that at all, he stood in front of the door, swallowed the key and said ‘you God boys aren’t going anywhere’ it was terrifying,” recounted a clearly shaken Brother Peter. “We pleaded with him to let us go but he just kept making us try on Superdry coats, telling us we could keep one each if we’d just hang out with him for a couple of hours.”
“Then he started forcing us to take cocaine and listen to Swedish House Mafia mixes,” claimed Peter before finally loosing his composure and exploding into a fit inconsolable tears.
“It was such a horrible experience,” continued Brother Peter ten minutes later after finally pulling himself together. “But I think it’s made me stronger as a Jehovah’s Witness because now I know what hell is like and I’m determined never to go back there.”
Brother Peter and his colleague, who wishes to remain anonymous, managed to escape their ordeal after agreeing to listen to Axwell DJing and making a break for it while he was setting up his equipment.
Swedish police have questioned Axwell about the unlawful restraint but later released him without charge indicating that the DJ is “just lonely” and misses his “Swedish House Mafia buddies” Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso who “never call anymore”.
