Fans Go Mental At Show As Sasha Digs Weeds

Ugly scenes erupted last weekend as thousands of disappointed Sasha and Digweed fans rioted at the annual Bangor Garden Show. Alexander Paul Coe (Sasha), native of Bangor, Caernarfonshire, Wales, had been asked to make a special guest appearance in an attempt to raise the show’s status in the Northern Welsh region. Bangor Gardening Association chairman Cyrill Jenkins said, ‘We thought having Sasha here would be a great way to get us a bit more exposure in the north.’

Organisers of the event, held at the Bangor Auditorium and Civic Center, seen the prospect of having Sasha dig weeds at the show’s opening ceremony as the ideal way to create a buzz within the ranks of the town’s youngsters. However, they got more than they had bargained for, as rumours of a Sasha and Digweed performance spread like wildfire on social media site Twitter.

The main auditorium was packed to capacity for the opening ceremony and the mood quickly turned sour as Sasha’s demonstration of the best way to dig weeds began. Angry fans clashed with security staff and flowerpots rained down on the stage to a chorus of, ‘We want tunes, we want tunes!!’ The normally peaceful event was not prepared for the mob and a police riot squad had to be called into help curb the situation.

Local gardening enthusiast Charlotte Jones responded, ‘Well I was standing near the front when the lovely young man came out to dig weeds. I have no idea why, but all of a sudden all the people at the back started to boo and next thing flower pots started landing everywhere, they destroyed everything they touched. My poor friend Mavis had to be taken to hospital after she was hit in the head with a Chrysanthemum’

Sasha had to leave the venue under police escort, when asked about the riot he responded, ‘Me and gardening are done professionally.’
