A twenty nine year old man who has been referred to as a “saint” and an “angel” by fellow ravers for sharing his water has gone on record stating “I’m no hero”.
Local car mechanic Reggie Day is believed to be in line for a Queen’s Award For Bravery as well as an outstanding commendation at the Pride of Britain Awards due to his selfless acts of kindness in Ibiza last weekend.
“With everything that is going on in the world; terrorism, mass shootings, war and hooliganism, the fact people like Reggie Day continue to go that extra mile for the sake of others is truly remarkable,” announced Queen Elizabeth.
“It is people like Reggie Day who give us all hope that the world can one day live in peace and harmony. I am delighted he will be receiving my award for bravery and only hope his good deeds inspire a younger generation to be as caring and generous as he is.”
Wundergound managed to get a few minutes with Reggie and asked him what he makes of it all. “To be honest, I just done what any decent human would do” said the humble hero. “I was in Space buzzin’ off my tits and I know drinks are quite pricy in those places, so I offered a sip of my lukewarm water to this Spanish kid who looked like he needed it.”
“Before you know it, he passed it to his bird, then to her mate, and it was gone. I didn’t think much of it and went to the bar to get another bottle but this time got one for these strangers too. Honestly when I handed it to them it was like I was bloody Batman or something. They couldn’t thank me enough for what I had done for them. Eventually word spread around Space and people were coming from all over the club to pat me on the back and shake my hand due to my generosity.”
“As I say, I’m no hero, I just done what any other person would do in that situation.”
