It has been confirmed that Lee Foss has been arrested in Ibiza airport following an attempt to get into the country wearing a disguise, adding further fuel to the rumours he was banned from the island in 2011.
The co-founder of Hot Creations who is widely recognised as a “hugely gifted” but “incredibly messy son of a bitch” was seen wearing a curly wig and fake moustache as he approached passport control, only to be spotted by security who inevitably handcuffed him and marched him into a back room.
“It is true we arrested Mr Foss and sent him back to London” said Pedro Costa, chief of security at Ibiza airport. He has not been allowed into mainland Spain or surrounding areas for some years. Many people believe he was banned after being caught with Ketamine in his pocket; however I can confirm this is untrue. He has been banned until further notice for taking on the image of a hobo and stinking up the place, which has somewhat infuriated a lot of the homeless population in Ibiza. They are offended he earns a good salary as a DJ and has the funds available to keep himself in shape, get regular haircuts and dress well, yet chooses to look like a man who lives in a dustbin.”
Wunderground managed to speak to Lee Foss on his arrival back in the UK “Yeah those rascals caught me again Goddammit” Lee told us. “That was the fifth time in as many years I have been caught trying to sneak in. I have now tried getting in via hiding in the boot of Jamie Jones’ car; by getting a backy on Infinity Ink’s bicycle, hiding in the toilets on MK’s steam train, and most famously via Anabel Englund’s hot air balloon – but those security guards are clued up. I am desperate to play Ibiza again but do not need to be told how to live my life. If I don’t want to wash or shave, that is my decision. I will not be preached too by any promoter or president. If London, LA, Miami and Berlin are relaxed enough to allow me to look like shit, why isn’t Spain? Bastards.”
