Using baggies that contain a little happy hardcore smiley face has had a massive impact on sales, admits local dealer.
“I used to use plain baggies and sales were sorted sluggish, I’d probably only sell ten fifty bags of weed and a half ounce of ket over the course of a weekend,” explained local dealer, James Curtis. “People were just buying the drug for the drug, the packaging didn’t really do anything for them.”
“But recently, having seen the success of blue meth in Breaking Bad, I decided to try and change my branding by using the baggies that have the little smiley face,” continued James while displaying the smiley face baggie that has been so successful. “Instantly I noticed it was making a difference, customers would see the bag, smile slightly, say thanks and then leave my car.”
“That slight smile of amusement at the brightly coloured smiley faces is all the proof I need to know that sales will improve,” he added. “I think people really sit up and take notice when you decide to try out a different looking baggie.”
Some of the James customers said they enjoyed the change in packaging but were mostly just concerned with the drugs within.
“Oh yeah the little smiley face, hilarious,” claimed one. “I suppose it is kinda funnyish.”
James claims that he’s planning to test out using different baggies for different drugs with weed plants on the weed bags, smiley faces on the coke and horse heads on the ket.
“Not only will they be slightly amusing but they’ll be easier for me to organise,” he added. “Then I’ll never accidentally rail out a huge line of ket instead of coke right before I have to drive somewhere.”
