An English raver has accused Croatia of being a “bigger rip-off than Ibiza” after being charged thirty three Kuna for pint of local beer.
Oscar Jameson, a twenty two year old from London, is said to have picked Croatia as his holiday destination because he believes Ibiza has become “too commercial” and “ridiculously overpriced”.
However, Mr Jamesone was left gobsmacked when the streets of Pag Island were overrun with pissed up Brits spending hundreds of Kuna on booze and drugs.
“Is nothing sacred anymore?” asked a disgruntled Oscar. “I went to Croatia under the impression it’s not only cost effective, but the music is on point and I wouldn’t run into any idiots from back home. Turns out it’s ten times worse than Ibiza, with Brits everywhere.”
“There were groups of English and Scottish blokes and birds all over the place, embarrassing themselves, throwing up, fighting and shagging,” continued Oscar. “I bet none of them knew a thing about house music and couldn’t even tell you which DJs were playing. I wish they’d fuck off to Magaluf and leave Croatia to real music lovers.”
Wunderground asked Oscar what he thought of the prices and if he’d return to Croatia, “Forty odd quid for a beer? Fuck that. I’m never coming back here,” he moaned. “I was told it was cheap but it’s probably the most expensive place I’ve ever been. I’ve spent about seven thousand Kuna. It’s like forty five Kuna for a sandwich and fifty Kuna for a vodka. It was five hundred Kuna for a gram of ket. I paid it, but I wasn’t happy.”
