A man who accidentally drank piss on the last day of a festival has admitted that he was pleasantly surprised by the taste and refreshing qualities of the urea rich liquid.
Patrick Martin was attending last weekend’s Body & Soul Festival when the incident happened. He explained the situation to Wunderground, “It was late on Sunday night – early Monday morning and I was all out of booze and dying for a drink. My mouth was dryer than a nun’s cunt.”
“I was just mooching around the campsite with my eyes on the ground trying to spot any left over cans or anything else that I could liberate in the name of a party,” he continued. “That’s when I seen this half full two liter bottle sticking out of a tent door. It was a green bottle and it looked kind of dark so naturally I though ‘whiskey’ and grabbed it.”
“I was so excited about my find that I didn’t even pause to have a sniff of the content I just put the bottle to my mouth and flung my head back,” recounted Mr. Martin. “I knew straight away that it was piss but I didn’t stop. I was telling myself ‘if it’s good enough for Bear Grylls it’s good enough for me’ and I knew I probably wasn’t going to find anything better to drink.”
“Once you got over the initial pissy, salty taste it was actually quite nice, fairly similar to a warm can of Dutch Gold,” claimed Mr. Martin. “It was quite refreshing too, I think whosever piss it was must have been on the cocktails because there was a definite fruity after taste that left the palate pleasantly surprised,” he added.
“You could also tell they’d been caining the MDMA over the weekend because fifteen minutes after drinking it I was off my tits. I guess you could call that the piss de résistance,” he joked.
While Mr. Martin has no immediate plans to drink piss again he has indicated that he would be willing to give it another try in similar circumstances, even stating that he would try his own piss should he be left without any alcohol.
