Mauro Picotto Announces Plans To Open Lizard Sanctuary

Italian producer Mauro Picotto has announced plans to open a lizard sanctuary in his home town, Cavour, Italy.

Picotto, is said to have had a life long obsession with lizards and is known to keep over one hundred and thirty reptiles in his Milan penthouse.

Wunderground caught up with the lizardman earlier this week to find out about his plans, “Well I got the idea when I sitting around my apartment eating some gabagool last week. I had to get up and answer the phone when Silvio, one of my Bearded Dragons, decided to climb up and eat the entire plate. I was this close to smashing his fucking head in but I says to myself, Mauro he’s just a fucking lizard, whacking him aint gonna bring back your gabagool. That’s when it hit me, a plush penthouse is no place for a lizard to live. I knew then that I needed to open a sanctuary for these little cold blooded bastards.”

The DJ hopes to start construction on the sanctuary in autumn of this year, although internal disputes in the construction workers unions could cause problems to the proposed completion date, which is in the summer 2014. He explained, “I’ve got some fat prick in Rome telling me I have to get this permit for this and that permit for that, I told him, ‘A fa Nabila’ and that he’d shut his mouth if he knew what was good for him so hopefully we’ll be good to go ahead on schedule.”

One real problem that Picotto faces is the logistical effort involved in moving one hundred and thirty lizards over two hundred kilometers from Milan to Cavour. “My lizards are very clever, I’ve chosen one from each species who reports directly to me and tells the others what to do. I’ve got Christopher the Iguana, Paulli the Chameleon, Silvio the, gabagool loving, Bearded Dragon and so on so forth, they’ll be able to take care of themselves when we’re on the road!” he said confidently.
