Outlook Festival have announced that they are to run a non-stop boat party from London, England, to Pula, Croatia, called The Outlook Express which will cater for two hundred and fifty Brits making the trans-continental journey for the festival.
According to organisers the boat party, which will leave London on the 25th August, is set to be one of a kind as it is the first ever nautical transport system between Britain and Croatia.
“As always boat parties are going to be a big part of this year’s festival,” explained spokesperson Gerry Williams. “We’ve got over fifty boats parties, hosted by partners like Resident Advisor and Just Jam, running during the day and night but we really wanted to do something that hasn’t been done before, originally we wanted to have a party on a spaceship but they were all booked up by Calvin Harris’s ego so we went with The Outlook Express instead.”
“We’re very excited about it,” continued Williams. “It’ll almost be like a little festival on the high seas before the lucky ticket holders arrive for the main event. The boat is a state of the art catamaran with luxurious decks and cabins. So unlike Microsoft’s emailing application, and the boat party’s namesake, it won’t be awkward, slow and outdated.”
“The ‘express’ part of the title might be a bit misleading though,” admitted Williams. “The boat leaves on the 25th August and doesn’t arrive until the the festival starts on 2nd September so that’s about as express as mobility scooter in an American shopping centre but it’s totally down to the beautiful picturesque route, around the south of Spain and through the Mediterranean and Adriatic, rather than the speed of the boat.”
“The party itself will be top class like all our boat parties,” claimed the Outlook employee. “We’ll have a number of special guests performing and a great selection of food and drink. The British are notorious for staying out in the sun too long so we’ve also fitted a unique sunburn deck where they’ll be able to bath in baths of aloe vera and sit in hot tubs filled with ice cold water. It’s definitely an experience not to be missed.”
Outlook Festival have advised all ticket holders to keep an eye on their social media platforms for upcoming details about all boat parties and have warned that tickets for The Outlook Express are set to sell out extremely quickly.
