Eastenders’ character Phil Mitchell has been voted the person Londoners would most like to party with, according to a report in The Guardian this morning.
Mitchell, played by actor Steve McFadden, beat some stiff competition, including former Arsenal defender Tony Adams, TV presenting power-couple Richard and Judy and DJ Skream, to take top spot in the poll.
“Phil looks like he would be great fun to have a bit of a party with, especially when he’s on the drink,” claimed Putney born Andy Wingham. “He looks a bit like an older, uglier, fatter, smaller version of Bruce Willis so there’d be all sorts of potential for Die Hard references. I could see a night out with Phil Mitchell being a lot of fun.”
“You can really tell that he’s dedicated to a party,” continued Wingham. “I’m so impressed by the way he drinks straight liquor, his technique is unbelievable, a lot like the storylines in Eastenders, and you know he’s not shy of a few quid or getting a couple of bags in so I just can’t see any downside to having him around at a session.”
“And I haven’t even mentioned the fact that he’s a hard as nails cunt,” added Mr Wingham. “So if, by some chance, you managed to get yourself into a bit of a scrap or you owed some rude boy for a bag you got on tic, you know he’d have your back and if things got really hairy he’d be able to call his brother Grant, who is by far the hardest man in Britain.”
Wunderground also spoke to actor Steve McFadden, “If you think Phil looks like good fun you should hang around with me for a few days. Honestly, I make Mitchell look like Dot Cotton on too much Xanax. I’m propper naughty. Did you know Danny (Dyer) has based every character he’s ever played on me. I’m cheekier than an extra hot Nando’s mate. Let’s ‘ave it!”
According to the report, the people Londoners would least like to party with include, the entire Conservative Party, Jeremy Clarkson, Katie Hopkins, Noel Edmonds and Cliff Richards.
