Taking ecstasy is a right laugh, according to the world’s millions of clubbers.
The international brigade of white glove wearing, sweaty jaw acrobats made the statement in light of recent bad press that the popular party drug has been receiving.
“They’re better than booze and safer with people under the influence of them less likely to engage in violent behaviour,” explained lifetime pill user Brandon Block. “They’re much more likely to kiss and hug random strangers than stab them. They’re also bloody good fun.”
“I mean, normally I wouldn’t listen to trance or psytrance, thinking that one is artificially emotionalist garbage designed to appeal to teenagers while the other is just garbage,” he continued. “But, bang a couple of UPS down my neck and I’ll dance to it all night like a kid on fizzy drinks.
Even if I’m not dancing and am just swaying slightly or smiling with friends it’s still an amazingly good laugh.”
“People tend to think of there being a crushing comedown from taking ecstasy that cancels out the joyfulness of the laugh you have while on em,” he explained, “but that’s nonsense circulated by people who’ve never drunk or snorted their way through a comedown like any self respecting partier.”
“Although I did once have a panic attack after over smoking weed while coming down from eccies, looking back though I suppose it was pretty still funny in a terrifying, I-never-want-to-through-that-again sort of way,” he added.
“The only thing not that much of a laugh about pills is people boasting about taking them, sure go ahead and enjoy them just don’t tell me about how crazy you are for doing them, I’m not an easily impressed 15 year old boy,” he concluded.
Some other things that pills are funnier than include The Big Bang Theory, Michael McIntyre and videos kittens being mean on the internet.
