A report published by the international drug dealing community has claimed that dealers love when clubbers call them hundreds of times a night trying to buy drugs.
“I know that for me personally, nothing quite makes me happy as when I’m trying to get a good night sleep and my phone is ringing constantly with people I barely know looking for drugs. It makes me feel wanted,” admitted local dealer Gary Philips who also claims to be a big fan of arriving to sell drugs to to friends at parties only to discover that none of them have cash and are hoping for tick.
“Just knowing I can go out of my way to accommodate them for no immediate financial reward is better than money,” he added.
Some of the other things that the report claimed is that dealers have a special place in their hearts for taking calls from randomers who received the dealer’s number from a casual acquaintance, “especially when they can’t pay up front or want me to drive to meet them at a house party at 5am”.
“Sometimes an unknown number might pop up and call me once or twice and give up,” continued Gary – who participated in the survey of thousands of drug dealers, 100% of whom admitted they lose sleep because of their job but that they love the attention and notoriety. “It’s a shame when they give up trying to get through really because I’d much prefer for them to keep calling me so that I definitely can’t get any sleep that night and will be groggy and belligerent the following day.”
“I’ll wake up some mornings at 9am having had my phone on silent and be greeted with 50 missed calls from a variety of numbers combined with incriminating text messages and I’ll just think to myself ‘even if I don’t sleep well and am constantly being badgered from Friday through Sunday, at least I’m popular.'”
“I want to just take the time to thank those people from the bottom of my heart,” concluded Gary, “and assure them that they’re not bothering me in any way and to continue to call their dealers, or even people who they think might be able to sort them out at 4am after a club night, and urge them to continue doing it because we ALL love it.”
