It has been confirmed that techno heavyweight, Ricardo Villalobos, has been mistaken for an extra in The Walking Dead, after perfecting the “zombie look”.
The Chilean DJ, who is famous for being the most “flamboyant junkie since Liberace” and taking more drugs during his sets than his “entire audience” put together, is said to have finished his gig in Avalon, Hollywood, when he left the club and walked directly onto camera, where a zombie scene in season seven of The Walking Dead was being filmed.
“He was so convincing,” said executive producer Jolly Dale. “We had just asked the extras playing zombies to head into a gruesome attack and somehow he was at the front the crowd, chewing his face in a frightening way. His entire mannerism was superb. He moved like a dead person. His eyes were in the back of his head and nobody could understand a thing he was saying. I’ve asked him to return for filming again tomorrow as he is the best zombie I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.”
Wunderground managed to speak to forty six year old Ricardo, regarding the case of mistaken identity, to see what he thinks of it, “I thought people were congratulating me on my music,” he told us. “Someone said I was the best since Michael Jackson, which was a real honour. Turns out he meant the best zombie impersonator since Jackson made his Thriller video. Initially I was a bit offended, but then the director handed me fifty quid for the day’s work as an extra. I called my dealer and got him to drop a gram of charlie off so I was fine after that.”
“If I’m being honest, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to me,” continued Ricardo. “Last year I won a Halloween fancy dress competition at my niece’s primary school, I hadn’t even dressed. I was too embarrassed to tell any of the other parents the truth so I took the winning prize, which was a bottle of red wine, went to the bogs and necked it. I also done a line of gear, dropped a pill and had a cheeky bump of ket. I fucking love getting on it, have you heard?”
