Stanton Warriors And Viva Warriors Set For New York City Street Brawl

Rumours are emerging in the electronic music industry suggesting the Stanton Warriors and Steve Lawler’s Viva Warriors are set to face off in a New York City street brawl.

Tension has been building between the opposing groups of warriors in recent months after Stanton Warriors’ Mark Yardley claimed they were the only “real warriors in dance music” and that their rivals were nothing but a “big bunch of sissies” and “about as warrior as a Smart Car in a lot full of Ferraris”.

The situation escalated yesterday after Steve Lawler responded to Yardley’s comments by repeatedly saying “Stanton Warriors come out to play-eeeeaa” while clinking bottles which he had placed on his fingers for the duration of his set at the Viva Warriors party in Sankys, Ibiza.

One onlooker described the incident, “It was a bit of a strange set from Steve tonight, I’m all about experimental music but that was just bizarre, there was actually no music at all. I thought the Stanton Warriors were going to come out and play back 2 back or something but instead it was just Steve Lawler staring intensely at nothing and repeating the same line over and over again, to be honest I only stayed for about the first hour and a half.”

Stanton Warriors’ Dominic Butler responded this morning via his personal Facebook page, “If Steve Lawler and his troop of clowns want to dance then let’s dance. Things are going to get real ugly and I’m not talking Paris Hilton ugly I’m talking Iggy Pop necking with Andrew Lloyd Webber ugly. Looks like I’ll be dusting off the old sleeveless leather jacket, we’ll be seeing you in New York bitches!”

While it is not yet apparent which of his warriors Lawler will choose to accompany him on his New York mission, early indications suggest that Anëk – who rumours claim are basically “two Chun-Li’s” except better on the decks, and Denney, the apparent champion of the world, are likely first choices.
