Super Strong Ecstasy In U.K. Is Making EDM Sound Good – Warns Doctor

Nineties Eurodance hip-hop crossover act Doctor Alban has warned the British public that the current batch of “super strength” ecstasy tablets now available in clubs are so strong that they “could even make EDM sound good”.

Ecstasy tablets with an MDMA content as high as 100mmg per pill have been reported at a number of clubs and festivals in Britain this year, a dosage that is significantly higher than the maximum recommended 75mmg.

Doctor Alban, originally from Nigeria but now based in London, made the stark warning after witnessing his best friend and fellow nineties pop lothario Haddaway “getting his groove on” to David Guetta’s Dangerous during a recent night out.

“Haddaway is no shrinking violet when it comes to taking pills, he was around in the nineties, he can handle his shit,” explained Doctor Alban during a chat with Wunderground earlier. “He’s also got pretty good taste in music having gone through his commercial, poppy dance music stage twenty years ago before naturally acquiring a taste for good soulful music.”

“So normally he has no time for EDM whatsoever,” he added.

“We were out for our annual nineties dance act Christmas party when Jonas from Ace of Base pulled out a bag of pills and started offering them around the room,” continued Doctor Alban, real name Alban Uzoma Nwapa. “Pretty much everyone took one, apart from his fellow band member Jenny Bergreen, she didn’t want one, all that she wants is another baby.”

“After about twenty minutes it was clear Haddaway wasn’t right,” claimed the Doctor. “It started off with a simple nodding of his head and tapping of his feet to an Afrojack track but soon escalated to full blown dancing. The scariest thing about it was that he actually looked like he was enjoying the music.”

“It wasn’t just Haddaway either, a number of the other people at the party seemed to be enjoying EDM, at one point I actually seen Ray Slijngaard from 2 Unlimited shazaming a Calvin Harris track. These pills are very dangerous and people should take extra caution when using them,” warned Alban.

Experts have warned that the strength of pills is currently at a ten year high and have even suggested that you “won’t be considered a sissy” for being careful and taking them in halves.
