The new model Sennheiser Momentum ZX100 headphones are reputedly “so good you actually can’t even hear yourself think” according to online reviews.
DJ favourite, Sennheiser, have been making high quality audio products for years and are confident that with this latest design there is absolutely no loss of sound whatsoever.
“I put a pair of them on and straight away I could only hear the music,” claimed product tester, Jonathon Stanley. “My own thoughts just didn’t register in my brain. I was screaming and hollering mentally but, thanks to the headphones, I didn’t hear a thing.”
“I’m delighted, some people will say that it’s a bit mental that there are headphones that are actually louder than your mind’s ear, but I don’t see the problem at all. Who wants to hear themselves think except scientists, people reading and stressed parents minding loud children.”
“My own thoughts aren’t very compelling,” he added. “Even if I could hear myself thinking while I was wearing the headphones I’d probably be only thinking about marmalade, the weather or woolly jumpers.”
The people at Sennheiser offered a free trial of the new edition headphones to some self described audiophiles to test out the product. One gentlemtan, up and coming DJ, Shane Mullin was delighted with the model.
“They’re amazing, you can’t hear a thing either outside or inside your own head. I was walking down the street listening to them when I noticed a woman who had been bitten by an angry cat,” he explained. “She seemed in a bad way. I couldn’t hear her screaming for help, but I could see by her gesturing that she was in a spot of trouble but I just kept walking. I felt a bit guilty, but thankfully, because of the headphones, I couldn’t even hear myself thinking I was guilty.”
