The latest mixer to be released as part of Pioneer’s DJM series is reported to have 100 channels on it including “Sky Sports and all the movie channels” as part of an exclusive team up with satellite TV giant Sky.
“How often have you been in the middle of a mix and you find yourself wondering what score the match is or what time Bruce Almighty starts at later, but can’t check because the channels on your mixer are only audio inputs and not channels in a TV sense?” asked a Pioneer spokesperson at the unveiling of the new piece of kit. “Well that will now be a thing of the past as the new Pioneer DJM Sky Plus will offer a wide variety of audio channels as well as your favourite TV channels too.”
The new mixer, which will come with a choice of channels specifically aimed at DJs such as “sports, movies, box sets, Boiler Room, Dance Trippin.tv and cartoons for funny nights watching Adventure Time while tripping your nut off”, will work just like a regular mixer except it’ll allow you to watch Sky’s extensive package that will come in built into your laptop.
“It’s the best thing to happen to mixing since the sync button,” claimed one up and coming DJ. “Now instead of being bored while mixing I’ll be able to just flick a channel and see what’s happening in the cricket or watch a few seconds of Fast & Furious 7: Fasterer & Furiouserer.”
“I think I’ll get most use out of the late night porn channels like Adult and Babestation that are on offer,” he continued. “I often make myself quite horny when mixing alone in my bedroom so having the option of watching people fucking to the rhythm of my beats is quite appealing to me, both sexually and aesthetically.”
The new mixer, brainchild of News Corp founder and “massive tech-house fan” Rupert Murdoch, will hit shelves in time for Christmas.
