A bipolar DJ in America has sent mixed signals to his fans this morning by claiming that he “fucking hates these lovely raves”.
Matt Willis, a.k.a. DJ Polar Bear, says he has a “love hate relationship” with the music industry but is grateful to have a job he enjoys doing at least “fifty percent of the time”.
“I’m truly blessed to be doing what I’m doing,” revealed Willis earlier today. “”It’s just that sometimes things just get on top of me and I feel like I’m trapped in a glass house with the whole world looking at me.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m massively happy most of the time I’m DJing, it’s a great job and I wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world but I just can’t cope with this shit, get out of my house,” he shouted while pushing this reporter towards the door. “Actually you’re alright mate, would you like a cup of tea?”
“I’m bipolar and I don’t try to hide it, my moods can be up and down quicker than a sex worker in Ibiza’s knickers,” he continued. “At least most of the the other people in the music industry are pretty mental too so I feel like I’m in good company.”
