London club XOYO has reportedly gone into hiding after news of Fabric’s permanent closure broke late last night.
According to sources, the Shoreditch club has not been seen since yesterday evening and has not been contactable via any of their social media accounts.
“They’ve just up and vanished,” claimed fellow Shoreditch resident Old Street Underground station. “To be honest with you, I’m not surprised in the slightest, if I was a club I’d be out of here too. The way the council is treating those guys is horrendous. Where does it stop? I don’t even know if I’m safe anymore, if it can happen to clubs like Fabric it could just as easily happen to an Underground station like me.”
Sources close to XOYO have confirmed that the club is safe and with friends but are unwilling to give out any information as to their whereabouts.
Other London clubs, such as Fire and Egg, have also revealed that they now fear for their safety after watching the council kill another popular nightclub.
“I really don’t know what I’m going to do,” claimed Egg earlier. “I’m still in shock that Fabric’s gone and who’s to say who’ll be next. It could be me, it could be Ministry, it could be anyone. I really don’t feel safe anymore. I’d ask the police for help only you just don’t know who to trust. I’m constantly looking over my shoulder. London’s streets haven’t felt this dangerous since the days of the Krays.”
Reports suggest that Berlin is willing to over look Britain’s recent Brexit vote and offer all London club’s asylum seeker status.
