Californian based company, Beats, have announced that they are to follow up their hugely successful line of headphones with a brand new range of seats, designed specifically for listening to music in.
Music venues all over the world are said to be jostling to become the very first setting for the revolutionary listening devices.
Mike Sittdoun, a spokesperson for Beats, the company originally founded by Andre “Dr. Dre” Young, explained how the seats will improve the music experience, “We’ve really been racking our brains here at Beats HQ to find a way to make listening to music even more enjoyable.”
“And finally we’ve cracked it,” claimed the company executive. “Did you know that eight out of ten people prefer sitting to standing up?” he asked before pausing for an awkwardly long silence. “Well it’s true, and listening to music is better than not listening to music so can imagine what listening to music while sitting in a brand new Seats By Dre will be like?”
“Totally frickin awesome is what it will be like,” he enthusiastically shouted.
“The seats are super comfortable and they’ll have the same red and black design as our headphones so, even though they’re essentially just cinema seats, people will still know they’re cool,” continued Mr. Sittdoun. “That’s their real beauty, we’ve done some science and proved that people using our products are forty percent cooler looking than people who don’t.”
“They also come with a brand new USB function, which is totally unique to this line of seats,” he claimed. “Although it has no practical purpose it’s still a really great feature, you’ll be able to plug all sorts of devices into it and feel like you’re making your seat interactive with your own personal preferences.”
Seats By Dre are set for commercial release this autumn with units expected to cost upwards of four thousand dollars.
Mr. Sittdoun also reveled plans to release Seats Portable, which will be the “exact same only with straps” to allow users to carry the seat around on their backs and also make them look like “a cool futuristic turtle”.
