Kraftwerk Unveil New Standing-Here-Doing-Fuck-All Show

German electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk have this week unveiled their brand new Standing-Here-Doing-Fuck-All show.

The quartet debuted their new show at an extremely low key event on Monday in a small venue close to where they played their first-ever performance in Dusseldorf, Germany.

“They’ve gone really minimal with their new show,” claimed one lifelong Kraftwerk fan. “So minimal that it’s actually kind of hard to tell if they were doing anything at all.”

“The first twenty minutes kind of sounded like someone pulling a stick along the side of a fence,” continued the fan. “Then there was a grinding gears section before they closed the show out with some sort of bumblebee tribute.”

“To be honest with you, I’m not really sure if I enjoyed it or not. If I’d heard that random selection of noises from someone else I’d definitely say it was shit but I just can’t bring myself to say it about Kraftwerk.”

Wunderground also spoke to Ralf Hütter, one of Kraftwerk’s founding members, “The Standing-Here-Doing-Fuck-All show will definitely be the last you’ll see of Kraftwerk.”

“We had great plans for this show but, to be honest with you, we’re all very tired and it never really took off. I’m seventy-one now, it’s time to finally call it a day, we just need to secure our retirement with one last tour.”

If you would like to see Kraftwerk standing around and doing fuck all, be sure to check out their Stand-Here-Doing-Fuck-All show. Alternatively, go and spend the afternoon in a retirement home.
