Maceo Plex may incur the wrath of his female fans after he angrily took to the microphone during a show to proclaim that ‘women coming to my show need to sort their armpit bush out.’
‘Yeah sure, I want to see your hands in the air but have a fucking shave first. It’s vile and disgusting’, shouted the DJ as he pointed out two women to security staff who then forcibly removed the offending women from the venue.
An unidentified female fan revealed that at the show’s after party she accidentally walked into a bathroom to find Maceo Plex applying Veet shaving cream to the armpit of a naked fan.
‘His eyes were squeezed shut and he was shaving the woman’s underarm. He kept tapping his foot, dry heaving and saying “I’m going to be sick” over and over. He was obviously very uncomfortable.’
When confronted by reporters after the show the visibly distressed DJ claimed, ‘It’s not that I’m anti-women. I’m just anti-hairy women. Seriously, they looked like fucking apes. They had more hair under their arms than DJ Harvey has on his head.’
