Reports from Nevada suggest that the Las Vegas Police Department dispatched a tactical Armed Response Unit to the home of Dutch DJ Hardwell in the early hours of this morning.
The alarm was raised after neighbours reported hearing violent shouting and numerous gunshots coming from Hardwell’s plush Las Vegas Boulevard apartment.
Mike Saladakis, a neighbour, explains, “It was about four a.m. when it started, I was asleep in bed and then next thing I know I’m hearing all this shouting and gunfire. The guy was screaming things like, ‘Eat led you fucking cock sucking crusty dick cunts,’ and ‘Yeah how do you like that you fucking bitch ass aids monkey.’ I had no idea what was going on but I could hear that he had a foreign accent so I naturally presumed it was terrorists coming to take my freedom. I called the cops straight away and I was like, ‘Hey I think there’s one of them Arabians shooting shit up over here on Boulevard, get your asses over here now.’ I wasn’t scared, I would have gone in myself only I used up all my bullets shooting bottles out in the desert.”
A police source has confirmed that a unit was dispatched to an address on Las Vegas Boulevard at approximately twelve minutes past four on the morning of September seventeenth, it is also confirmed that upon investigation no arrests were made. Captain J. Kirk of the Las Vegas Police Deartment spoke of the incident, “Yeah we got a call from some hysterical moron, he was screaming for his mommy and shouting shit about terrorists so we followed protocol and sent an Armed Response Unit. When we got there we found out that it was just some guy playing the new Grand Theft Auto game with his TV hooked up to a huge set of studio speakers, we asked him to turn it down and hold off on the screaming and we moved on. It was a busy night, that was the fifth Grand Theft Auto related ARU dispatch of the night,” claimed the over worked police man.
Hardwell has not confirmed that it was his apartment, although a spate of recent tweets seem to confirm the reports.
