Dirty Bass Causes Man To Throw Up In Crowd

Man Gets Sick After Listening To Dirty Bass

A festival goer in Croatia who suffered severe bouts of projectile vomit during a DJ set he attended has blamed a stray low frequency bassline for causing the illness.

23-year-old Rory, from Surrey, was enjoying a light dubstep set from producer Mala, when an unexpected change in ambiance caused him to keel over and puke at his own feet.

“It hit me out of nowhere” said Rory. “I took a sip from my drink, closed my eyes and almost instantly felt this strange buzzing in my ears, instantly I knew it was one of those grubby basslines and i just couldn’t keep it down.”

Security at the festival claim to have received numerous complaints from members of the audience who felt ‘queasy’ and ‘unwell’ during, and after the same gig – only one incident of actual vomiting was reported however.

“I felt a funny feeling in my stomach too, actually” said one security guard. “But I knew it was probably just one of those rogue basslines making me feel a bit disgusting, so I went for a quick shower to clean it off and I felt fine afterwards.”

Rory was unable to get to a wash facility in time however, and found himself projectile vomiting for the duration of Mala’s set.

He is now campaigning to have accessible hand sanitizer and wash facilities at festival stages around Europe, in order to help people defend against the dangers of what he calls “basslines produced at disgustingly low levels.”
