A well-known DJ has been left wondering what to rant about on Twitter after enjoying a completely stress free flight.
Peter Mitchell, aka DJ Maverick, was reportedly left confused and upset after landing slightly ahead of schedule on a Ryanair flight between Manchester and Milan.
“Usually, when I fly, something inevitably goes wrong,” Mitchell told us earlier. “Like, the flight will be delayed, my luggage will go to the wrong destination, I’ll be sat next to a bloody baby or my coffee will be slightly too hot or too cold, any of these things are enough for me to write five or six Twitter posts giving out about airlines, airports, cities and in some case even entire counties.”
“But, this time, I got on my flight on time, was nice and comfortable the whole way, enjoyed some lovely refreshments and even landed about twenty minutes early,” continued the DJ. “What the fuck is all that about? It was so nice, I may as well have been at home or on some sort of spa retreat it was so relaxing, How wants to fly like that?”
“For me, flying is all about getting stressed out of my tits and having something to complain about on Twitter afterwards,” revealed Mitchell, owner of Top Gun Records, “That’s why I fly with Ryanair, if I wanted a stress free flight with nothing to moan about I would have paid the extra hundred quid and gone with a different airline.”
“I didn’t have a clue what to do with myself when I landed, I was walking around the arrivals lobby looking for things complain about but there was nothing,” he said ruefully. “What the fuck do normal people do when they get off flights? In the end, I just sat in Burger King eating chilli cheese bites for four hours.”
According to Mitchell’s Twitter feed, after he left the airport he got into a taxi which had slightly low air pressure in its rear passenger tyre, after eight Twitter posts, threatening to sue and asking the taxi driver if he knew who he was seventeen times he eventually got the bus.
