DJ Who Just Wanted A Real Job Changes Mind 2 Minutes Into First Shift

A DJ who decided to give it all up and get a real job in search of a “normal life” has reportedly changed his mind two minutes into his first shift.

Maurice Brennan, a.k.a. DJ Mo B, is believed to have walked out moments after his first encounter with his would be supervisor at a local accountancy firm.

“Who the fuck did that prick think he was?” Mo B said shortly after quitting his job. “If I’m gonna have a real job, I’m gonna need to have a few drinks to get through the day, but no, Mr Bossman doesn’t think it’s appropriate to be drinking at my desk at 9 o’clock on a Monday morning.”

“Well, fuck that, if I can’t drink in work, there’s no way I’m working, nobody told me I had to be sober when they offered methe job, what a crock of shit,” complained the DJ. “I didn’t half heartedly finish half of an accountancy diploma before I became a full time DJ to be treated like this, if I can’t drink here, I’ll just find another job where I can drink.”

“To be honest with you, I wasn’t really feeling the whole 9am starts either,” he said hesitantly. “I said I’d give it a go and now I have, but I won’t be doing it again, the only time I’m normally still up at 9am is if I’ve got a flight to catch or I’m at an afterparty, I had no idea there were so many people actually going about their normal lives at that time of the day, I genuinely thought the whole work day thing kind of kicked off about twelveish.”

“I’ve already started looking for something else, all I want is a job where I don’t have to get up early, the work is easy and I can drink while I’m there but I don’t want to be a DJ again, I think I’m going to have to go back into the clubbing industry is some capacity. Maybe I’ll be a manager or an agent.”

Reports suggest that Mr Brennan finally found a job that suited him perfectly without having to go back to the club scene, he has now become involved in local politics and is planning to run in the next local elections.
