Electronic Music Producer Looking Forward To Summer Spent Staring At Computer In Dark Studio

An electronic music producer from Manchester, England, has revealed that he is really looking forward to another summer spent sitting in front of a computer in a dark recording studio.
Michael Watts, who produces under a number aliases including 100K Watts and Watts Up, claims that there’s nothing he enjoys more than spending his summer days tirelessly working in a studio environment, safely out of the way of the sun’s harmful rays.
“I really love this time of year,” confirmed Michael during a chat with Wunderground earlier today. “Christmas is over, I get to stop spending time with my friends and family and get back into the studio. Plus, the days are getting longer so I know that, before long, It’ll be the summer again and I’ll have the chance to stay indoors all day while it’s nice outside.”
“Who likes the sun anyway?” he asked. “Not me that’s for sure. I tend to try and go out as little as possible during the summer, it’s my most productive time of year. I like to spend nine or ten hours making music every day and then play gigs in the evening. Sometimes at the weekend I’ll force myself to go out in the sun for a little while but I really don’t enjoy it.”
“I’m hoping 2016 will be a big year for me, I’ve got a few international gigs booked so I’m planning a bit of a tour,” revealed Watts happily. “It’ll be great to do a bit of traveling, although, apart from the clubs and my hotel rooms I’ll probably only get to see airports but I’ve heard there’s some dead nice ones around Europe and it’ll be nice to get to make some music in some exotic locations, even if I don’t know they’re exotic because I didn’t really get to see them.”
According to Alan Wilkinson, a friend of Mr. Watts, the music producer doesn’t know how lucky he has it, “That jammy git has the lot. All he does is sit around all day on that computer, probably playing poker or on Facebook, then he gets to go and play in nightclubs in the evenings.”
“I’ve heard he gets free drink too, although, all he ever asks for is water because he has to work. What a loser, it’s not even a real job.” scoffed Wilkinson. “Sure, I probably make twice as much as him, have my evenings and weekends off, get four weeks holidays every year and get sick pay, but that lad’s got it easy.”
