A French woman has revealed that she is constantly mistaken for German DJ Marcel Detmann.
Davina Guetta, a sixty four year old Parisian, claims she is stopped at least three or four times every day by people who think she is the DJ.
“I’ll admit it was a little bit funny at first and I did kind of like the attention,” revealed Davina earlier. “But after it keeps happening, constantly, for years on end it becomes a little bit annoying. I’ll be trying to stand around smoking aloofly, casting arrogant gazes at anyone in my vacinity and balancing my beret effortlessly on my head and then some moron will come up to me and say ‘are you Marcel Dettmann?’, it happens at least three or four times a day.”
“Personally I don’t think I look anything like a man or a DJ,” continued Ms Guetta. “His hair hasn’t got a patch on mine either, I use L’Oreal, because I’m worth it, looking at his hair I’d say he probably used head and shoulders at best, maybe even something cheaper.”
“I don’t know anything about techno music or house music or any music that isn’t played on the radio,” continued Guetta, “and I certainly can’t get anyone on the guestlist for some club call Bargain in Berlin so I’d really like if everyone could please stop asking me.”
In related news, French DJ David Guetta, who, like his namesake, also knows nothing about techno music or house music or any music that isn’t played on the radio, has complained because no one ever mistakes him for a DJ anymore.
