A Jamie Jones gig has been ruined for a twenty three year old man from Essex, and presumably for everybody else that attended, due to the lack of complete lack of phone charging facilities on the dancefloor.
Circuit Nightclub in Essex last weekend played host to Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones, who according to the local promoter “played probably the best set that has been played in Essex ever, the likes of which may never be repeated. Until MK next week at least.”
However young clubber Michael Gilltrap was quick to disagree. “I was trying to upload a crowd video to my facebook page. I have 5000 friends on there, and they all pretty much rely on me for their clubbing related media.”
“So when I’m at gigs I’ll spend a good portion of the night uploading a constant stream of 2-3 minute videos of me at the gig, so those people that can’t actually be in the club to witness me at the event can fully understand that I was indeed there, and this somehow validates me in a way I can’t quite explain without the use of blurry video.”
“But when my phone died, there wasn’t a plug or phone charger in sight! Everybody knows the one place you use your phone most is on the dancefloor, but it’s like any dancefloor I visit hasn’t been designed with phones in mind, and it makes zero sense.”
“Once it was dead there was fuck all to do to be honest. So I just kind of stood there, dancing a bit.”
“It was kinda fun to be honest.”
