According to our political sources, it appears that hipsters are about to become the UK’s latest scapegoat after last week’s decision to leave the EU completely eliminated the immigrant threat.
Political scientist Egon Murray believes that life in the UK is about to become very difficult for hipsters, who will now be blamed for many of Britain’s socioeconomic problems.
“Obviously voting for the Brexit isn’t going to improve areas such as jobs, healthcare or migration,” explained Mr Murray earlier. “If anything it’ll probably make it worse, they were just lies the leave side told to help get the vote and, now that they’ve got it, they’ll need to pick another group of people to point the finger of blame at.”
”Hipsters seem to fit the bill perfectly,” continued Murray. “They’re young, very annoying, the majority of working class people seem to hate them, and a lot of them have beards and wear hats which almost makes them look Muslim. I wouldn’t want to be a hipster in England for the next twelve to fifteen years, things are about to get really bad for them.”
Murray claims that the government have already started a campaign against the hipsters with subliminal messages appearing in all branches of the media since the results of the referendum were announced on Friday morning.
It seems that the government’s campaign against the hipsters is already taking effect. We spoke to John Poole from Burnley earlier, “It’s fucking shocking is what it is. Just when you think you’ve got away from the European shit heap the hipsters show up looking for a free ride.”
“They’re coming up here from London, with their stupid floppy hair and taking all of our jobs, and they’re getting benefits too, they’re probably making more money than the Prime Minister,” explained Mr Poole. “I’ve heard that they even give them free houses, just like me. That’s not right, you should be looking after your own first, not some bloody hipster from down south. It’s a disgrace, this never would have happened if we’d stayed in Europe.”
