A veteran Ibiza worker has decided that he is going to one last season on the island for the fifteenth time.
Having been on the island every summer since 2002, Peter Mitchell claims this will “definitely be his last season” and plant to “settle down” as soon as he gets home.
“After my first two seasons, I’ve always thought the next one will be my last,” he told Wunderground earlier today. “I’m definitely not getting any younger, so I think, after this year, I’ll probably try to do the adult thing and get a real job, a misses and maybe even a few kids.”
“This’ll be my seventeenth season in a row,” continued Mitchell. “Once you do ten, you get an Ibiza Gold Card, which gives free entry and as much free drink as you like in all of the clubs.”
“Not a lot of people make it to ten and most that do are too fried in the head to do anything other than sit by a pool and drool on themselves so it’s a great privilege to have made it this far, and still have total control over my own bowels.”
“This is definitely gonna be my last one though, probably, unless a few of mates are going back next year.”
