Legendary Scottish DJ and party boy Jackmaster is set to star in the upcoming Trainspotting 2 movie, playing a local wreckhead DJ who loves the hedonistic lifestyle.
Personally selected by movie director Danny Boyle, on the basis he can bring an “authentic messy vibe” to the movie set, Jackmaster is said to be “fucking delighted” he is making the jump from superstar DJ to Hollywood heartthrob in 2017.
“All my hard work is finally paying off,” said an obviously delighted Jackmaster, real name Jack Revill. “I’ve been fucking dance floors up for years now and people absolutely love the shit I throw down so it’s time to do it on a big screen and, hopefully, pull a few worldies along the way. Apparently they’re going to pay for a shit load of ket and md, put me behind some decks and tell me to go about my business as usual.”
“I reckon, by the end of next year, I’ll be dating Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Lawrence,” continued Jack. “This film is going to be huge and I’m going to outdo Jonny Lee Miller and Ewan McGregor in terms of style and talent. You wait, I’m going to steal the show, there’ll be no stopping me. Maybe I can knock that cunt Dixon off of number one spot on the RA chart, be Time Magazine’s man of the year and have a three way with Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba all in 2017.”
Wunderground asked Danny Boyle what he expects from Jackmaster, “Banging tunes, access to drug dealers and a shit accent,” he confirmed.
