Jamie Jones Accuses Seth Troxler’s Hair Of Copyright Infringement

Seth Troxler Jamie Jones Ibiza Copyright Infringement Law suit

In the latest of a long line of copyright issues in 2015, Jamie Jones has accused Set Troxler of copying his hair style.

Welsh DJ Jones claims that he had the “Afro do” long before Troxler and is now looking for compensation of up to £15k in damages.

“I’ve been rocking this Afro for as long as I can remember,” claimed Jones earlier today. “Over the years it’s got me quite a lot of work. At first, when Troxler showed up with his hair like mine, there was plenty of work to go around, and I never really thought he’d keep it like that because he was always changing his style anyway, but know he’s getting greedy and taking up all the Afro related work. It’s not on!”

“Then I hear stories about him telling promoters that mine’s not a real Afro and that I’ve been wearing a wig for years,” spat the angered DJ. “Well it stops here. I’ve been onto my legal team and I’m going to be looking for at least £15k damages from proposed earning at the Annual Afro Ball, the Afro Appreciation Association’s AGM and the Alcoholics Anonymous Christmas party, all of which I’ve played at for the last six years running, but now Troxler’s after worming his way in. The AA, AAA and AAB gigs were mine, he’s not having them.”

According to Troxler, he can’t help it promoters see his Afro as a more authentic and superior quality hairdo to Jones’s.

“It’s not my fault if those guys picked me over Jamie,” he explained during a quick chat with Wunderground. “Look at my hair, it looks like god put a bit of brown sugar into a candyfloss machine and used me as the stick. You just don’t get a better Afro than this.”

“If Jamie really wanted to keep those gigs he probably should have spent a little more time in front of a mirror with a comb and a little less behind the decks. I’ll see him in court.”

Sources close to Jones later revealed that all hope of an out of court settlement were gone after Troxler was heard saying that it was probably “Jones’s daft Welsh accent” that stopped him getting the gigs. More on this story as it happens.
