Perm-haired Hot Creations chief Jamie Jones is reportedly suffering in a state of anxiety after becoming unable to decide on a floral shirt to wear for the upcoming Sonus festival in Croatia.
According to friends the Welsh DJ has been trying to decide on what shirt to wear from his collection of 30,000 which he keeps locked in an air conditioned secret storage basement in Ibiza.
“As well as being a DJ, Jamie is known as an avid collector of luridly coloured Hawaiian shirts and elaborate perms,” claimed an insider. “He was actually born with a full head of hair and was immediately wrapped in a white blanket, onto which a floral design was imprinted from the bloody placenta.”
“He still wears it sometimes in DC10,” added the source who says that Jamie hasn’t left the storage facility for weeks as he struggles to settle on which one to wear claiming “they’re all so beautiful and colorful that [he] can’t decide” and always feels bad to leave lesser worn ones out.
“Jamie has been in there for two weeks, surviving on packets of Skittles and maintaining his sanity by watching Star Wars on repeat,” explained a friend. “He’s really looking forward to Sonus festival as it’s in the sunshine and gives him a chance to showcase the shirt in its intended environment.”
“I just hope he decides soon, but how do you pick one shirt from 30,000?” queried the friend. “I think he might just have to pick it the way Steve Aoki picks his cake frosting – by closing his eyes and gently fingering cake to decide by taste and feel.”
Jamie was unavailable for comment but says that he’s narrowed it down to a possible 150 shirts which he’ll hope to further reduce down by the time Sonus takes place in July.
“I’m confident he’ll make it,” concluded the source. “I heard that the same thing used to happen to Richie Hawtin but now he just wears black all the time to avoid it.”
