A man who was out partying all weekend has reportedly broadcast his Monday morning mental breakdown using Facebook live.
Thomas Buttler, a twenty eight year old electrician, is believed to have “lost the plot” upon waking up this morning and somehow managed to stream the entire event to all of his friends on the popular social network.
“At first I thought it was a joke, I was with Tommy a few hours before the broadcast and he seemed totally fine to me,” explained close friend Barry Harrington. “But I suppose I decided to go home at three o’clock this morning and he decided to take another pill, knowing well he was up for work at seven, but that’s Tommy for you, always the last man standing.”
“He couldn’t have had more than one or two hours sleep so I guess he must have just pressed the wrong button on his phone when he was trying to turn his alarm clock off and started the live stream,” continued Mr Harrington. “I was sure he was just being hilarious, until he started screaming ‘I hate my life’, crying uncontrollably and smacking himself across the face with his shoe.”
“After that it wasn’t funny at all, it was just pathetic, sure we all get the occasional ‘thing in our eye’ when we’re watching Titanic or reruns of Friends but he was proper crying, because of his emotions, what a sissy. I’m not even sure if I want to hang about with him anymore,” claimed Harrington. “I turned it off after twenty minutes. You really couldn’t sit and watch a man suffering a complete mental breakdown for any longer than that.”
According to Facebook statistics, Mr Buttler’s live broadcast has so far received one thousand three hundred and seventy six likes, six hundred and eighty eight shares and reached over ninety thousand news feeds, as far afield as Japan and Mexico.
In a comment left under the stream, Japanese Facebook user Hiriko Tasho said, “Ha ha ha, fat ugly man make tears of shame. What a loser. LOL”
While Mexican Rita Sanchez claimed, “SMH This Gringo is such a pussy. I’m not surprised he’s alone in that bed.”
Mr Buttler has yet to comment on the incident, however, according to sources close to the man, he is “a little embarrassed” by the incident but has refused to delete the video as he is “happy to finally be getting his fifteen minutes of fame”.
