Mano Le Tough Questioned By MI6 After Claiming To Be “Top Irish Man In The RA”

Irish electronic music producer, Mano Le Tough, has been questioned by MI6 about a possible connection to the IRA after the Co. Wicklow native claimed to be the “top Irish man in the RA Top 100 DJs of 2014” poll earlier this week.

Mano Le Tough, real name Niall Mannion, made the claims via his Facebook page on Monday morning after being named in seventh place on the coveted Resident Advisor list.

In an exclusive scoop, Wunderground got the lowdown on Mannion’s questioning from an anonymous source within MI6, “Here at MI6 we take any threat to national security very seriously. Mr. Mannion was deemed to be a viable threat so naturally we brought him in for questioning.”

“The first alarm bells went off when we realised Mano Le Tough was Irish,” explained the source through a pixelated mouth. “Originally we thought he was some sort of French wrestler but when we learned that Mano Le Tough was actually a codename we instantly became suspicious. Irishmen with codenames are never good. Just look at Bono, he’s been terrorising peoples’ ears for decades.”

“Then he said that thing about being in the RA so we rightly picked him up and brought in for interrogation.”

When questioned about the context of Mano’s claims to be in the “RA” the source responded, “He said he was the top Irish man in the RA,” before pausing awkwardly mid-sentence and continuing with, “Top 100 DJs of 2014. MI6 doesn’t give a whistling cunt about context when national security is at risk. We’ve made a file on him and we can all move on.”

According to former Irish ambassador to Britain, Terry Wogan, Mano Le Tough’s questioning shows how far the peace process between the two countries has come, “Mano was quite lucky really, if I had of said something like that back in the 80s I would have been thrown in jail, it’s a sign of the times and proof that our countries relationship is really moving in the right direction.”

“The last man to claim to be the top Irish man in the RA was Gerry Adams,” continued Wogan in his silken West Brit drawl. “And look what happened to him, they wouldn’t even let his voice be played on the radio, everything he said was played in an actors voice. Mano’s lucky it’s not like that anymore, although to be honest, it might not have been such a bad thing for him to have somebody else record those vocals on his last album.”

According to information released by Resident Advisor, approximately thirty percent of voters from the United Kingdom mistook the RA Top 100 for an IRA most wanted list and had the results been tallied from British votes alone Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness and Roy Keane all would have featured in the top twenty.
