An extremely paranoid house music fan who was spotted posing for a photo with his favourite musician, MK, is believed to have asked to see the legendary DJ’s hands before uploading the picture to social media.
Twenty three year old Blake Styles, from Essex, England, is said to have approached the house music sensation full of the usual “confidence and gusto” of somebody buzzing on ecstasy, only to find himself full of self-doubt, having overheard a girl ask “is that Jamie Jones?”.
“We’ve all seen those SnapChats do the rounds ain’t we?” claimed Blake. “Those kids at that festival got absolutely killed for confusing MK and Jamie, to the point they would probably get laughed out of every rave in the UK and forced to listen to 1D or Little Mix for the next ten years. There was no chance I was going to make the same mistake and end up a Facebook laughing stock.”
“MK didn’t mind me asking either and actually admitted the only reason he got the tattoo in the first place was to remember who he was. He told me he often thought he was Jamie Jones when looking in a mirror and the tattoo was a timely reminder each and every morning.”
“If I’m honest, I think every musician should have a tattoo of their name on their hand, or their forehead, so we can tell them all apart when we are off our nut,” continued Blake. “It would make life so much simpler for all of the ket-heads and pill-heads who confuse legends such as Sasha with Digweed, or David Guetta with Christina Aguilera. Worse still, I’ve confused Calvin Harris with a boring, lifeless, mundane pot-plant at my nan’s house so many times now, that I’ve actually put a post-it note on the plant to remind me that it’s not Calvin Harris.”
